暘 弥涼(Hinode Isuzu) There is a slight inanition within the hypnotic swell of sound.
Even though the song "By the Sycamore Trees" talks about not being able to sleep, for me it was a song that lulled me into a comfortable sleep🌛
And I was also interested in the words that unravel modern society, where ideology is vacant, from a first-person perspective.
Anyway, what I want to say is, this is really great. Favorite track: By the Sycamore Trees.

Mindset Gap 03:37
Isolation is hell The voice in your head Pulls you down, no regret So iconic, your shell All filters attached The intention is set Go! Social-Selfie-Adverts-P*rn You were merely made not born Social-Selfie-Adverts-P*rn You were merely made not born Lay out your ego trap Give me a like, give me a mention! We've got a mindset gap I don't care, I want your attention! Say did you make your preps? I come from another dimension! We've got a mindset gap I want my maximum tension Now! Narcissus' digital twin Your fingers swiping through pics Gives you adrenalin kicks This imitation we're in An emulation of life It's what you want them to like Lay out your ego trap Give me a like, give me a mention! We've got a mindset gap I don't care, I want your attention! Say did you make your preps? I come from another dimension! We've got a mindset gap I want my maximum tension Now! strange places pass my attention while I log-in to dissociation skipping the intrusive self-reputation of the billboards, holograms advertising sounds day in, day out day in, day out tube station, fool of the nation, missing relations, reaping rejections and I’m afraid of falling asleep and so I break my limitations as I’m merging with the crowd day in, day out day in, day out day in, day out day in, day out tonight we dance with the city lights and then we realize we’re crossing the edge tonight hold tight we sleep with the neon lights the ones we sanctify we own the night inflation – procrastination – I need the real shot to light up my veins – and maybe some cajun fries and a coke and I will stomp those mother*ckers into motherf*cking ground Motherf*ckers! Gonna burn those mother*ckers down! girls, boys, pachinko rotation – I am trapped in a pixel sensation – all those injections, making me dizzy and I'm pushing up my energy so I can play another round day in, day out day in, day out day in, day out day in, day out

Dark angel From liquid skies You’re offering me a peace you can't supply Distracting me from emptiness You hide away a truth I can't deny Your martial habits Your milkyway eyes I wanna lay me down in a bed of lies And when you spread Your wings All feels numb Swallow the sun Can erase My emotional R.O.M.

I cannot sleep I cannot dream I don’t know what this means Every night The City, she speaks to me And so I go in my car To the derelict mall By the sycamore trees By the sycamore trees All the ghosts of the night They calm down for a while By the sycamore trees By the sycamore trees Put my head on the ground Of the parking lot By the sycamore trees By the sycamore trees Here I am, I’m alive That’s the only way to feel By the sycamore trees By the sycamore trees

An Mignon 02:42
Heimlich bildende Gewalt. Schon seit manchen schönen Jahren Seh ich unten Schiffe fahren, Jedes kommt an seinen Ort, Aber ach! die steten Schmerzen, Fest im Herzen, Schwimmen nicht im Strohme fort.

12 days without a memory And 7 years of peace All shattered into pieces When Gladys took you back Her breakdowns, the asylums You’d often changed your homes And you wished yourself away To some protective Dad It’s hard to start if you don’t start with the truth Lost feelings of attachment Relations on and off They all demand a piece of yours A filling for their lacks Emotions helter skelter Your path was set by men With no respect for limits Dissociate – and fade to black It’s hard to start if you don’t start with the truth Do you have a dream for me? Would you please project your needs into me? May I serve you, may I please? Who can save this little Norma Jeane? Happy Birthday to you Feels so tragic and blue Makes you cry on the spot An emotional wreck Ulysses on your nightstand Your sleeping pills at hand Whatever you had given You never got it back It’s hard to start if you don’t start with the truth

Here comes the winter He finally shows People like you and me We treat ourselves like ghosts They tell us to make the world The way we like it most And we fill the sky above With creatures no one knows Oh it's getting colder now It’s getting so much colder now Oh it's getting colder now It’s getting even colder now Don’t fear nor regret We’ve reached another land When there’s no colour left We’ve just reached Pattern’s End In case you understand Then reach out – take my hand When there’s no colour left We’ve just reached Pattern’s End This is the pattern’s end!

about

“This album is full of depth, catchy melodies and surprises the listener with its epic - electronic timbres! You cannot escape it, you can only love it!” - Radio Rainbow City, Berlin

“Stirring and thoughtful soul food.” - Orkus! Magazine

Moments of timeless beauty." "If Freud had had 'Ghost Kitchen' at hand, perhaps he would have gotten on the couch and danced.” - Sonic Seducer

GHOST KITCHEN is the first full-time studio album by electronic music project TWO WORDS IN JAPANESE on which ELANE producer Nico Steckelberg collaborates with German Gothic icon Bianca Stuecker who lends her expressive voice.

The musical basis of GHOST KITCHEN are electronic sounds in different styles ranging from Dark Electro to Dark Wave with LoFi elements to Post-Rock. Violin and cello comple-ment this genre mix with their very own organic sound.

A GHOST KITCHEN originally describes a restaurant without a guest room, service staff or chairs and tables for guests. They are cooking facilities set up for the preparation of dishes for delivery.

"The album has nothing in common with the original meaning of the word," explains Nico Steckelberg. “I like the sound of the word and the associations it creates. In the context of the album concept, the 'ghost' here represents fears. The GHOST KITCHEN is therefore the 'kitchen of fear', or to put it another way: the origin of the trauma or the traumatizing situation. It is the cause of symptoms and suffering that we all experience over the years and that have a lasting effect on our actions. This is how we pass them on to others. Any form of human connection can be a GHOST KITCHEN, including family. Sometimes we are not the guests, but the chefs.”

GHOST KITCHEN is about trauma, compensation and addictive behavior. Each song deals with a specific topic. Prof. Sigmund Freud's psychoanalysis and the behavioral and psychotherapy derived from it represent an important counterpoint to the top-ics dealt with in the lyrics.

"It's two sides of the same coin," explains Nico Steckelberg. "I can't just write about problems without offering analysis and solution approaches. That's why Freud can also be heard in two places on this album with his own voice.”

In addition to Bianca Stuecker and Nico Steckelberg, other musician friends can also be heard on the new album.

The GHOST KITCHEN ensemble also includes the Norwegian musician Dreaming Cloud (known from his band project Oberon), whose unmistakable voice refines the chorus of the song "Emotional R.O.M.".
“Dreaming Cloud’s work influenced my first musical endeavors in the mid-1990s. He is a very inspiring artist and I am more than grateful that he agreed to this wonderful guest appearance.”

Simon Spillner has been playing the violin since he was five. He has international experience as a soloist in various orchestras and is now technical director of the studio for electronic mu-sic at the Cologne University of Music and Dance. Steckelberg and Spillner have known each other for 20 years through their work in their fantasy folk band ELANE.

Anna Stuart recorded the soulful cello passages for GHOST KITCHEN. The British cellist attended the youth department of the Royal Academy of Music in London at an early age. She later studied cello at the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester and at the Rob-ert Schumann Hochschule in Düsseldorf in the master's program 'Orchestral Playing'. Today Anna Stuart is a member of the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra in London. For several years she has also been a guest musician on ELANE.

Two Words in Japanese Cologne, Germany

Imagine a future they imagined in 1984: Her bright pink neon mouth pulverized before his inner eye into a molecular pixel cloud and gave way to the seemingly endless metropolis panorama of the skyline of Chiba City.
