Sky Above the Port

by Two Words in Japanese

/

about

Sounds like Jean-Michel Jarre meets Trent Reznor. This song is inspired by William Gibson's Neuromancer / Sprawl Trilogy. It fits perfectly into the genres Cyberpunk ("Cyberpunk 2077") and retro video game music. Its mixture of electronic sounds and organic instruments delivers lots of energy. The mood is to be described as "urban / night". There are some older synthesizers in it like the SID chip of Commodore C64, which makes it a pretty modern sounding retro Chiptune / Bitpop experience. Enjoy
