Here comes winter, also known as severe depression. The protagonist of the song is no longer able to find a way out of her own issues. Fears and psychosis take over and everything around them grows increasingly cold. The track is based on the German folk song "Ach, bitter Winter", which was rearranged disruptively for this album. PATTERN'S END is reached when there is no color left in life and the world sinks into dull black and white.
