This is the tense part of the fictional movie. Short time until the heist will start. Everybody is nervous although all movements are well rehearsed. T minus 10 - accelerate!
It never rains in California, they say, but I wanted the heist to take place on a rainy day. It sometimes rains in L.A., and this makes the job even more exciting and exhausting.

I wrote this track after a long night of video games. GRAND THEFT AUTO V is probably the game that influenced the sound of "Downtown Heist" the most. If you like it, I highly recommend you the GTA V soundtracks, co-written by TANGERINE DREAM.
